The article deals with the results of the research of ecological condition of green plantations of Lviv. The damage of trees by acid rains and pests and chestnut trees by moth has been studied. Damage by acid rains of the leaf surface in Lychakiv and Shevchenko areas amounts to 45 percent, by pests – to 20 percent and by moth – to 90 percent. A map of the damage of green plantations of Lychakiv area of Lviv has been prepared. Key words: acid rains, green zones, phytopathology, urbanization, nitric acid, sulphuric acid, moth.
