Various types of technogenic influence towards subsystems of biosphere – hydrosphere, pedosphere, atmosphere, biotosphere, sociosphere – and their ecological consequences are presented. Stages of development of environmental mentality of mankind are elucidated. Backgrounds of “geosozology” – environmental science of biosphere – are characterized. Human sozology, phytosozology, zoosozology, pedosozology, landscapesozology, and other environmental scientific branches of geosozology are defined. The conceptual principles of landscape sozology and Green book of rare landscapes of Ukraine are presented. Landscape systems of special function have been included in the Green book.
