Normal 0false false falseIN X-NONE X-NONEMicrosoftInternetExplorer4This study aims to know the association between the rattan species Calamus aruensis Becc with the host tress in the Gunung Meja recreational park forest. Based on results of all 98 observation plots, C. aruensis is only found in 22 plots. C. aruensis associates with 26 trees species and the total amount tress on which this Calamus grow is 45 tress. Based on the calculation if asociation index, the asociation between C. aruensis and all host trees show a low association level with the IAP value ranges from 10%-22,2 %. The lowest IAP value is found at the asociation between C. aruensis and Pometia pinnata , and between C. aruensis and Litsea sp. The highest IAP value is between C. aruensis and Streblus elongata . The asociation between C. aruensis and host plant of poles stage shows a low IAP value rangging from 2,7027 %-12,5 %. The lowest IAP value is found between C.. aruensis and Archidendron sp, Chisocheton ceramiqus , Dysoxylum sp, Gomphandra glabosa , Gomphandra sp, Mastixidendron amboinensis and Polyalthia glauca . Value of the highest IAP value is foud at the asociation with Pimelieodendron ambonensis .
