The article presents the research results on the analysis of trends in corporate organizational development and design of targeted business innovation strategies to ensure further economic growth and national industry competitiveness along with identifying the evolutionary stages and characteristics of modern large corporations. It is noted that over the last century corporate structures have been focused on enhancing their business diversification which relies on the combination of various technical objectives. It is argued that diversified corporations are established on the basis of certain core technologies and characterized by a wide range of product output. The study seeks to justify the major trends in contemporary corporate structure development in the context of knowledge economy, characterized by efforts in building creative partnerships, developing innovative projects and focusing on creative process and corporate social responsibility of the founders and staff. It is emphasized that creative corporations assume is a new type of organization that is integrated in the process of intellectual capital development and can achieve sustainable competitive advantages in modern business realia. Further development of creative corporate structures will inevitably contribute to enhancing the intellectualization of production and the role of innovative entrepreneurs and promote the transition to non-economic values.
