COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease-2019) is now considered a public health emergency of that concerns the whole globe. The aminoquinoline drugs (chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine) are now in increased use globally as a potential, albeit unproven, treatment option for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
