In this paper, the solar powered DC motor control system is considered and simulations are performed using various controllers and H-Bridge Buck Boost converter. The parameters varied are: irradiance and temperature. When input parameters are changed abruptly, such as sudden rise or fall in temperature or irradiance, DC motor performance is observed. These parameters are changed separately, keeping other parameter constant. The main aim is to obtain smooth DC motor control and operation under all input conditions. The simulations results are executed and compared for different controllers using MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
