This research is a classroom action research conducted at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Talun. The results showed that the use of natural beauty video media suggestions could improve the poetry writing skills of eighth grade students of UPT SMP Negeri 2 Talun. Product improvement can be seen from the increase in students' poetry writing scores in each cycle. The average ability of students in writing poetry before the action was categorized as less. However, after implementing the action for two cycles, the average ability of students in writing poetry was in the good category. Improving the quality of the product/outcome can be seen from the comparison of the average scores of students' poetry writing in the pre-action to post-action stages of Cycle II. The average score of students in the pre-action stage was 16.53, in Cycle I it increased to 19.95 and in Cycle II it increased again to 22.31. The average score of students' skills has increased by 2.36. Thus, the poetry writing skills of grade VIII E UPT SMP Negeri 2 Talun students have improved both process and product after being given action using natural beauty video media.
