Uma interpretação teológica da violência contra a juventude nos tempos atuais

O artigo trata da violência sobre a juventude atual, confrontando-a com dados bíblicos relevantes sobre o tema. Começando pelo sacrifício de Isaac e passando pelos evangelhos, o texto apresenta uma hermenêutica a partir do “caldo” da violência recebida pela juventude. A sociedade adulta manipula os jovens, culpabilizando-os e transformando-os de vítimas em algozes. A juventude precisa acreditar em si mesma, não se amarrar nas armaduras e ferramentas adultas e inventar suas próprias soluções. Jesus nos mostra que quer os jovens em pé, falando, se relacionando e vivendo. Os cristãos precisam gritar como o anjo para Abraão: Agora já chega! Deus não quer sacrifícios humanos!Abstract: The article deals with the violence befalling today’s youth, comparing it with the relevant Biblical data. Starting with Isaac’s sacrifice and going through the gospels, the text presents a hermeneutics based on the culture of violence received by the youth. In society, adults manipulate the youngsters, incriminating them and turning them from victims into executioners. The youth must believe in itself, stop tying itself to the adults’ armours and tools in order to invent their own solutions. Jesus shows us that He wants the young people standing up, speaking, relating to others and living. Christians must cry as the angel cried to Abraham: Enough now! God does not want human sacrifices!
