O caráter global ou mundial das relações sociais é uma das características mais acentuadas em nossa atual vida societária. E isso repercute enormemente na vivência da fé cristã, enquanto configuração da vida pessoal e social, de acordo com e em função do dinamismo do reinado de Deus na história. Para o bem e/ou para o mal. Neste artigo procuraremos (1) compreender em que sentido se pode realmente falar de uma sociedade globalizada, (2) explicitar as principais características do atual processo de estruturação da sociedade global e (3) identificar os principais desafios e sinais/possibilidades do dinamismo do Reino no processo de globalização em curso.Abstract: The global or worldly character of social relations is one of the most striking characteristics of our current life in society. For better or worse, this has a huge influence on the experiencing of the Christian faith as configuration of personal and social life, in accordance with and in function of the dynamism of God’s Kingdom in history. In this article we will try to: (1) understand in what sense we can actually speak of a globalized society; (2) outline the main characteristics of the present structuring process of global society and (3) identify the main challenges and signs/possibilities of the dynamism of the Kingdom in the globalization process in course.
