The Challenge of Skin Lesions in Systemic Diseases

A 47-year-old man, obese, without medical problems, presented with a 15-day history of painful erythematous nodular lesions on the anterior side of lower limbs. He had no improvement with antibiotics and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). He developed migratory and symmetric arthralgias (ankles, knees, elbows) and low-grade fever.
