La concepción humanista de los Estudios Generales: tareas pendientes

En la presente ponencia, el autor se propone identificar algunos de los desafíos y de las tareas pendientes que el aggiornamento de la interpretación humanista de la formación integral nos plantea en lo relativo a los Estudios Generales dentro del contexto latinoamericano. Las tareas pendientes tienen que ver con los cursos de refuerzo, la formación integral, la interdisciplinariedad vs. la desconexión entre los cursos, la investigación, la formación ciudadana, el etnocentrismo vs. la apertura cultural de los planes de estudio y las acciones afirmativas interculturales. De todas formas, no se consideran agotados todos los nuevos retos en esta exposición.AbstractIn this article, the author attempts to identify some of the challenges and the pending tasks that the aggiornamento of the humanist interpretation proposes regarding the General Studies in the Latin American context. These pending tasks involve remedial courses, comprehensive education, the interdisciplinarity vs. the disconnection of the courses, research, citizen education, ethnocentrism vs. cultural openness in the course program, and the intercultural actions, as well. Nevertheless, the author considers his report inexhaustive in regards to all the new challenges that are arising.
