In this paper, the author argues that the current statutory scheme with regard to non-profit corporations is a legislative “mish-mash” and would best be replaced by a single act which dealt comprehensibly with the area. The bulk of the paper consists of an examination of the current Alberta situation and proposals for a complete reform.
