English : The manufacture of glass BC About 12000 years ago, Mesopotamia was introduced into Iraq. Glass began to be molded about 7000 years before Christ. From about 1550 BC to the beginning of the Isayuga, Mishra was a major center for glass making. The making of hollow glass utensils by a pipe was started around the year 325 BC.
Hindi : काँच का निर्माण ई.पू. लगभग 12000 वर्ष पूर्व मेसोपोटामिया ईराक में किया जाने लगा था। ईसा से लगभग 7000 वर्ष पूर्व काँच को साँचे में ढ़ालने की शुरूआत हुई। ईसा के लगभग 1550 वर्ष पूर्व से लेकर ईसायुग के आरंभ तक मिश्र काँच निर्माण का प्रमुख केन्द्र रहा। फूँकनी नली से काँच के खोखले बर्तन बनाना ईसा पूर्व 325 वर्ष के लगभग प्रारंभ हो चुका था।
