ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND WATER POLLUTION AND WATER CONSERVATION (WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO UJJAIN CITY AND SHIPRA RIVER)

Man has always wanted to do economic development. It is also a fact that without a clean environment, a man's life is unimaginable. Major injury to any part of human and environment in this relationship not only puts this relationship in danger, but also threatens the existence of both. Human life will be affected if the environment deteriorates. This does not mean saving the environment at the cost of economic development or achieving economic development at the cost of the environment. There needs to be a balance between the two so that human life remains safe and also benefited. The center of both is human only. Nature and man are two aspects of life on earth. Both cannot be seen separately. आर्थिक विकास करना मनुष्य ने सदा से चाहा है। यह भी तथ्य है कि स्वच्छ पर्यावरण के बिना मनुष्य का जीवन अकल्पनीय है। मनुष्य और पर्यावरण के इस रिष्ते में किसी भी हिस्से को बड़ी चोट न केवल इस रिष्ते को खतरे में डाल देती है बल्कि दोनों के अस्तित्व भी खतरे में पड़ जाते हैं। पर्यावरण बिगड़ेगा तो मानव जीवन प्रभावित होगा। इसका यह अर्थ नहीं है कि आर्थिक विकास की कीमत पर पर्यावरण बचायें या पर्यावरण की कीमत पर आर्थिक विकास हासिल करें। दोनों के बीच एक संतुलन की आवष्यकता है ताकि मानव जीवन सुरक्षित बना रहे और लाभांवित भी हो। दोनों का केन्द्र मानव ही है। प्रकृति और मानव पृथ्वी पर जीवन के दो पहलू हंै। दोनों को अलग-अलग कर नहीं देखा जा सकता।
