In the context of the complex foreign policy and economic situation, the difficulties in the economic development of the country as a whole, the constant expansion of anti-Russian sanctions and other destructive processes of the organization are facing a difficult task – to maintain its minimum stability in the market. Constant changes in environmental factors sharply raise the question of sustainability of organizations and the formation of dynamic abilities. The purpose of the work is to study the main aspects of the formation of dynamic abilities of the organization in the face of increased risks of the environment. The main essence of dynamic abilities – the ability of the organization through internal resources to quickly adapt to external changes. Dynamic characteristics of abilities are achieved due to constant updating, configuration and reconfiguration under the influence of changes in the external and internal environment. The achievement of the company's dynamic capabilities in the long term is a condition for the formation and maintenance of a long-term strategic competitive advantage. The scientific contribution of the author is to consider the theoretical basis of the formation of dynamic abilities, as well as the development of an approach to evaluation in the framework of the matrix method. The author conducted a study of the concept and essence of dynamic abilities, evaluated the approaches of well-known management theorists, and formed the concept of sustainability of the organization, which can be applied in the process of improving the activity. The main conclusions and results of the research: dynamic capabilities, organization is a tool of its resistance to changes in the external environment, assessment of dynamic capabilities relevant to the assessment of the competitiveness and potential of the internal environment, for building sustainable organizations in the conditions of instability it is necessary to develop its domestic resource potential with a view to the formation of dynamic capabilities.
