During the work on setting up bored piles, as well as on strengthening the quarry foundation by injecting the solution, there is a problem of quality control, in particular, determining the integrity of the pile shaft and the degree of filling of voids and cracks in the foundation body. Quality control methods have been developed by measuring the electrical conductivity of cement and concrete mix. To this end, powders of ferro-containing material are introduced into their composition. Laboratory tests have shown that these additives allow to obtain a solution with high electrical conductivity. The use of such additives allows you to control the processes of filling wells and voids in the masonry. In addition, the measurement of electrical conductivity can be used to control the curing of concrete or mortar.
