All modern legal systems of the world use such a category as the right of inheritance. Already this fact points to the high importance of the legal category under consideration, dictated by the need to ensure the legitimate interests of both a particular citizen and society as a whole. In this article, a comparative legal analysis of individual probate inheritance issues in Russia and Germany is carried out.
