The article substantiates the directions of development of constructive tools in the field of implementation of the state policy of import substitution in the context of a multiple increase in sanctions pressure on the Russian economy. The conclusion is formulated about the long-term nature of aggressive actions by unfriendly states and their associations against the Russian Federation and its allies. A methodology has been developed to ensure the economic security of regions based on reducing their dependence on imports and the use of reserves for the development of the domestic market.
