In this article, we will consider and analyze the stages of reforming the Russian agro-industrial system, its formation and support measures created by the Government of the Russian Federation. Agricultural engineering is the most important part of the agro-industrial complex and has a number of features. We will look at these features, and ways to solve the problems that have arisen. The Government of the Russian Federation also drew attention to the low technical support of farmers, and proposed a set of measures to solve this problem. Let us consider their influence on the socio-economic development of Russian regions.
