The article is devoted to the role of the chemical industry in ensuring food security. The objectives of ensuring the food security of the state are defined, and the need to activate the internal resources and potential of the state to ensure the food security of the state is justified. The connection of the chemical industry with agriculture and their impact on food security is shown. The statistics of the main indicators of the production of mineral fertilizers and indicators of self-sufficiency are presented, which confirm the importance of the chemical industry and agriculture in ensuring food security.
