At the present stage of society's development, the service sector is the predominant component of the economy. Services make a person's life easier and more comfortable. And in a situation where the pace of international trade increases every year, customs services play a key role in increasing the country's competitiveness on the world market. The relevance of this topic lies in the fact that the practice of providing customs services, including information and consulting services, is extremely important for foreign economic activity. High-quality provision of public services today is one of the most important aspects of the relations of state bodies with the population. The realization of the need to provide services to the population to the state came at a time when the authorities rethought their role in the life of society. If earlier the state was presented as a kind of" overseer "of society to ensure its own interests rather than the interests of the population, now it is trying to implement the concept of a" service " state, focusing on the citizen, satisfying his needs, to achieve a balance between public and private needs. And it is the practice of providing public services that shows the state's interest in implementing the interests of citizens.
