The article analyzes the current state of drug addiction in Russian society and the effectiveness of the fight against it. The general economic damage as a result of drug addiction of citizens is reflected. The need to improve the assessment of the activities of the anti-drug commissions of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation is substantiated. A specific technique is proposed.
