Currently, the issue of analytical processing of information when planning sales of products in various production environments is under study, and this determines the need for a thorough study of assortment management and price policy analysis. The article deals with the problem of effective planning and management at various stages of an organization's activity. The features of the problem of planning management analysis as a tool for forming assortment and pricing policy are determined. It is proved that the most effective tool for forming assortment and pricing policy is analytical processing of relevant information, which is implemented in the preparation of management decisions
