The article is devoted to the development of a methodical means for estimation of customs services, which are managed using X-ray cargovision systems. The proposed mathematical means for evaluating the quality of software tools for X-ray cargovision systems is a part of the system for estimation the quality of customs services under consideration according to the KPI methodology. The recommendations of the ISO 9126 standard are used as the basis for evaluating software tools.
