The purpose of this article is to study and evaluate the current issues of involvement of state bodies of the Russian Federation in the implementation of priority national projects in the field of science and education. The factors that act as barriers to the maximum effective functioning of state agencies to implement measures within the framework of these projects are identified, and a set of measures to eliminate them is recommended.
