When a structure operates in difficult conditions of an industrial enterprise, a deterioration in the strength properties and geometric characteristics of the section of metal rafter structures is inevitable. In this case, strengthening the elements by welding additional sections does not always increase the strength and reliability of the structure, since when the section changes, the structure changes the static scheme of work (instead of central compression, eccentric compression of the elements is observed). The article is devoted to the analysis of amplification methods to improve the reliability of elements.
