This scientific opinion of EFSA deals with the risk assessment of the polymeric additive (butadiene, styrene, methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate) copolymer cross‐linked with divinylbenzene or 1,3‐butanediol dimethacrylate, REF. No. 40563 for which the CEF Panel concluded that there is no safety concern for the consumer if the substance is used only up to 12% w/w in rigid poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) materials at room temperature or below.
