Analytical studies of machine-technological complexes for the removal of diseased potato and vegetable crops have been carried out, a research methodology has been described, structural and technological schemes of modern machines have been presented), a functional diagram of a machine for phyto-cleaning of vegetable crops and potatoes has been developed, a morphological matrix indicating the prospects for performing work on automation of the performed operations of phytocleaning of infected potato and vegetable crops for the most significant operations that determine the quality indicators of work that affect the completeness of the cleaning of infected plants.
