The article is devoted to the issues of assessing the potential of energy saving in agricultural buildings, including those intended for living, public, industrial, storage and special purposes. The method allows one to independently preliminarily assess the main problem areas without using expensive measuring equipment and involving third-party organizations. An example of a quick assessment of the energy saving potential and possible savings due to the quick elimination of shortcomings and a further reduction in utility bills or the cost of ensuring the functioning of a building is given.
