Solutions for the reconstruction of low-capacity power supply systems are considered and analyzed. The most promising ones are highlighted. Possibilities of their application at industrial, agro-industrial and municipal facilities have been assessed, possible ranges of payback periods for power generating mini-CHP have been determined. The specificity of operating modes of local energy sources, combination and regulation of heat and power supply loads, their advantages and disadvantages are considered.
