The analysis of existing designs of openers of seed drills used in sowing small-seeded crops is carried out. The design and model of the opener for sowing small-seeded crops is proposed, and the technological process of its operation is described. Design and technological calculations for substantiating structural-operational parameters of the proposed opener are presented
