The analysis of the volume of grain waste in the context of agricultural enterprises of Tyumen showed that more than 64 farms in the region have the amount of waste more than 500 tons per year, of which 16 farms with the amount of grain waste more than 2000 tons per year. The granulometric composition, ash content, bulk density of biofuels from waste of wheat, oats, barley and rapeseed were determined. The lowest bulk density of barley and rapeseed waste is 130-133 kg/m3. Low bulk density makes it difficult to accumulate and transport large volumes of fuel. When organizing the combustion of such dry plant waste, difficulties arise; they have an intensive removal of light burning particles from the furnace. The mass fraction of crude ash in terms of dry matter for the studied batches of biofuels is in the range of 6.42...16.17 %.
