The necessity of developing a mathematical model of design and theoretical prediction of the resource of the working body of a soil-cultivating unit is substantiated. A formula that represents such a mathematical model is proposed. It adequately predicts the possible resource of strengthened working bodies of tillage and sowing units when they are restored.
