At the modern time in spite of certain achievements of the "mother and child safety" service, there is still a tendency of new-born babies morbidity growth. Hyper bilirubinemia is one of the most often met pathologic states in the new-born period. Nowadays the frequency of the phenomenon is growing in the whole world becoming almost universal. According to the data given by various authors the frequency of pathologic hyper bilirubinemia in new-born children takes 25-65% and 70-90% in pre-mature born babies.
