N. V. Iovkhimchuk’s course of lectures «Children’s literature» is prepared for students of the faculty of pedagogical education and social work. The educational edition aims at expanding the knowledge of students,acquainting them with the wealth of works of the Ukrainian and foreign literatures that can interest junior schoolchildren. It teaches future pedagogues the ability to manage the reading of their pupils. This educational edition can be useful for students who study publishing, in particular the subject «Editing children’s literature».
