ã€Abstract】 Chinese culture is one of the oldest cultures in the world. Many ancient temples have been built in ancient Chinese cities. They have more than thousand years of traditional history. The temples which were built at the ancient Chinese cities were a master piece, there are many such kinds. These temples are not only places where people go to worship. It is also the venue for people to carry out folk activities, and it is also the garden for the literati.In this paper we discuss about the study we have done at the ancient Baita temple which is our research object at Nanchong City in Sichuan Province. Taking historical literature into account as the clue, relying on the details of the archaeological discovery, and using the field exploration data as a reference to explore the historical context of Baita Temple and the familiarity of the ancient activities at the Baita Temple among people.
