The report examines the anthropologized and other semantic and connotative loads of the names of some plants (wormwood and oregano) in Bulgarian and Russian folk art. The topic is related to the comparative study of a cultural heritage of the two nations. In recent years, linguistics in the Bulgarian and Russian languages has increased research in this direction.
