This column identifies a selective sample of web-based sources related to prison librarianship and inmate literacy. It is by no means a comprehensive listing. Sites were retrieved from the databases of Hotbot, Altavista, Fast Search, Northernlight,Google, and Metacrawler search engines using the following search strategies: "prison librar*"; (inmate* or prison* or jail*) AND literacy.
