In this article, the extradition process will be analyzed from its origin in International Criminal Law, as well as the treatment it has had in Peru and what is the procedure that must be followed to achieve extradition. Likewise, the judgment of the Wong Ho Wing case against Peru will be developed, in which the right to a reasonable time and personal freedom are violated in an extradition procedure, due to the delay in the process for its completion and the excessive time that was spent. deprived of his freedom by the authorities of the Peruvian State.
