Generally, cholecystitis disorders have suggestive clinical expression for obtaining a presumptive diagnosis, less quantifiable clinical and functional compared to parenchymal organ diseases, which is why we considered it appropriate to deepen and find integrative-correlative modalities of ultrasound diagnosis in complex multidisciplinary diagnosis of the colecistopathies in the dog. In this context, the ultrasound evaluation allows obtaining data on the gallbladder identification and evaluation, its parietal structure, the topography (in correlation with organs that serve as echomark), the type and quantity of the content, along with the tonus/presence and intensity of the specific contractions.
