The article discusses the issues of multicultural interaction of the younger generation in Russian society in the conditions of modern general education in Russia, shows a theoretical approach to the issues of multicultural education in the environment of primary school age, especially the pedagogical adaptation of migrant children in the educational structure of secondary school. The materials focus on providing the characteristic conditions for the development of a maturing child’s desire for spiritual and moral growth, taking into account the cultural diversity of Russian society, showing the main directions for such upbringing of younger schoolchildren in the context of increasing cultural diversity of society. The issues of globalization, informatization, integration of Russia into the world cultural and educational space, the growing interest of ethnic communities of the Russian Federation to their traditions and customs require teachers and schoolchildren and their parents to constantly improve the conditions for introducing children to the cultures of the peoples of the country and the near abroad. The materials reflect aspects of the interaction of children and adults belonging to different ethnic and religious groups, based in their actions on different cultural and social values. There is a need for a scientific understanding of the issue, a theoretical understanding of the educational activities of teachers, parents, and school and family interaction in the spiritual and moral education of younger schoolchildren in a multicultural educational environment.
