this paper concerns a 12th century ritual deponation laid in a semi-subterranean building probably in connection with its abandonment. a wheelstone, bones of a chicken, and pieces of an egg were found under a pot turn upside down. Medieval, bronze and iron age paralels for the placement of the deponation in the southwestern corner of the building are investigated.
