The wolf engraved image on a horn pendant of the Hunnic time (burial ground Cheremukhovaya pad, Transbaikalia)

Важным аспектом в археологической науке является процесс детального исследования и документирования уникальных предметов искусства с помощью новых методических разработок, технологий и приемов. Использование современных цифровых технологий и микроскопии является основой для выявления деталей предметов и точной их фиксации. В процессе работы с артефактами из погребальных комплексов хуннского могильника Черемуховая падь в Забайкалье коллективом авторов было обнаружено новое изображение на роговой подвеске из погребения подростка. В статье представлены результаты микроскопического и стилистического анализа зооморфного изображения, атрибуция образа до биологического вида, его культурная принадлежность. Выводы основаны на выделении таксономических и художественно-стилистических признаков, а также предложены версии возможного семантического смысла. An important aspect in archaeological science is the process of detailed research and documentation of unique art objects using new methodological developments, technologies and techniques. The use of modern digital technologies and microscopy are the basis for revealing the details of objects and their exact fixation. The team of authors discovered a new image on the horn pendant from the burial of a teenager while working with artifacts from the burial complexes of the Hunn burial ground Cheremukhovaya pad in Transbaikalia. The article presents the results of a microscopic and stylistic analysis of the zoomorphic image, attribution of the image to a biological species, its cultural affiliation. The conclusions are based on the identification of taxonomic and artistic-stylistic features, as well as versions of the possible semantic meaning are proposed here.
