The oeuvre of the Buryat artist Dashi-Nima Dugarov

Статья посвящена творчеству бурятского художника, члена-корреспондента Российской академии художеств Даши-Нимы Дугаровича Дугарова. Многие его произведения считаются классическими и служат образцом живописного мастерства, композиционной цельности, единства замысла и талантливого воплощения. Автор делает обзор творческого пути художника, предпринимает анализ ряда его ключевых произведений живописи, графики, проектов Союза художников Бурятии. Отмечены параллели с буддийскими иконами и народным искусством, подчеркнуто отражение бурятской культуры в темах, сюжетах, образах и технике их воплощения. Также раскрывается деятельность Д.-Н.Д. Дугарова как руководителя Всебурятской ассоциации развития культуры. The article is about the work of the Buryat artist, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts Dashi-Nima Dugarov. Many of his works are considered classical and serve as an example of pictorial mastery, compositional integrity, unity of purpose and talented embodiment. The author makes an overview of the artists creative path, undertakes an analysis of a number of his key works of painting, drawing, and projects of the Union of Artists of Buryatia. Parallels with Buddhist icons and folk art are noted, the reflection of the Buryat culture in the themes, plots, images and techniques of their embodiment is emphasized. The author also reviews the activities of D.-N. Dugarov as the head of the All-Buryat Association for the Development of Culture.
