В статье рассмотрены вопросы истории возникновения, этапы развития надомного, промыслового и промышленного производства ковров Зауралья. Выявлены региональное художественностилистическое своеобразие и технологические особенности уралосибирского ковроткачества. Описание изделий дополнено фотографиями. Также определены проблемы и трудности фабричного периода производства ковров. The article deals with the history of the origin, the stages of development of homebased, commercial and industrial production of carpets in the area of the Urals. The regional artistic and stylistic originality and technological features of the UralSiberian carpet weaving are revealed here. Description of carpets is supplemented with photographs. The problems and difficulties of the factory period of carpet production are also identified.
