В статье представлены основные этапы формирования буддийского искусства в Тибете, формирование буддийского пантеона, его специфика и влияние со стороны ранних культов, тантризма, индуизма. Описывается иконологическая иерархия буддийских образов и основные виды искусства – танка, фреска, скульптура. The article presents the main stages of the Buddhist art of Tibet, the formation of the Buddhist pantheon, its specificity and the influence from the earliest cults, Tantrism, Hinduism. It describes iconological hierarchy of Buddhist images and basic forms of art – the thangka, fresco, sculpture.
