Искусствоведы часто удивляются – искренне или притворно – необычайной жизненности художественных традиций. Гораздо реже они могут объяснить, почему жизненно именно традиционное искусство. Творчество художника Цай Юй-чэня из города Бэйган помогает понять эту загадку. Art historians are often surprised - sincerely or feignedly - the extraordinary vitality of artistic traditions. Much less often they can explain why it is traditional art that is vital. Creativity of the artist Tsai Yu-chen from the city of Began helps to understand this riddle.
