Dmitry Tugarinov’s exhibition: traditions and modernity

16 февраля в Москве в залах Российской Академии художеств открылась выставка скульптора Дмитрия Никитовича Тугаринова, действительного члена РАХ, заслуженного художника РФ, лауреата премии Московского комсомола. Масштабная экспозиция, занявшая 10 залов и включившая в себя около 350 скульптурных произведений, приурочена к 60-летнему юбилею мастера. Также в одном из залов были экспонированы работы супруги Тугаринова скульптора Афины Георгиевны Попандопуло. Она известна неповторимыми портретными образами, а также использованием инновационных технологий и пластических методик в жанре портрета. The exhibition of the sculptor Dmitry Nikitovich Tugarinov, the full member of the Russian Academy of Art, the honored artist of Russian Federation, Moscow Komsomol prizewinner, was opened on 16 February in Moscow halls of the Russian Academy of Arts. The largescale exhibition, occupied 10 halls and included about 350 works of sculpture, is timed to coincide with the foremans diamond anniversary. There were also exhibited the works of Tugarinovs wife, whose name is Afina Georgiyevna Popandopulo, in one of the halls. She is famous for her inimitable portrait images and for the using of the innovative technologies and the plastic techniques in the genre of portrait.
