SIMATIC S7 -1200/1500. The purpose of this article is to develop a new solution for automating the tracking of the location of in-line objects during its movement in the pipeline. The following tasks were completed: an algorithm for tracking the exact location, logical programs for the emulator, and a virtual model of the system for tracking the location of in-line objects were developed. Hypothesis: the proposed solution for automating the tracking of the location of in-line facilities makes it possible to increase the efficiency of pipeline maintenance. As a result, an information and measurement system for tracking the location of pipeline cleaning and diagnostics tools based on the SIEMENS SIMANTIC S7 -1200/1500 series PLC was developed.
