Chemistry also includes the possible reaction between two or more metals giving interesting intermetallic compounds. This important part of the solid-state chemistry has been studied in our laboratory from the synthetic point of view of the phase diagrams experimentally established by DTA, X-rays diffraction and calorimetric measurements as well as microanalysis with EMPA.
